Application
: Ethylene Glycol is one of the UV irradiation products of 1,4-dioxane in wastewater. Also, it is derived from 1,3-Dioxolane, which is an intermediate for the preparation of Acyclovir. Also, 1,3-Dioxolane is used in the synthesis of new Vandetanib analogs.
